Me likes Taco Tuesday on Main

This won't come as a surprise my HB peepers, but Taco Tuesday at Sharkeez on Main St shouldn't be missed. Every Tuesday. Go.

I recommend the fried Fish taco. $1.75 (get 2 if you're a baller like me). Unlimited chips and salsa. 21 and over inside, patio seating for a younger crowd. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.

Main Street has more to offer than tacos.

Talk about some farm fresh $avings. Holler.

I'M ON A BOAT....For half price.

I'm on a boat mother, take a look at me. Straight floatin on a boat on the deep blue sea. Bustin 5 knot wind, whippin out my coat. You can't stop me mother cause I'm on a boat.

Yep, I was on a boat this last weekend. Utaw corn-mazes have been played. It's 2009, for a good spook the only place to be is on a boat.

Quick background: The Queen Mary is permanently docked in Long Beach as a musuem and hotel, but she certainly got around back in her day. In service 1936-1967, transported troops during World War II, and is reportedly haunted. They add a bunch of lame props during Halloween to try to make you scream.

So for only about $15 you get admission to: 3 Halloween mazes set up on the boat: Isolation Ward, Pirates Revenge, and I can't remember the last one. On the ground there is a house set up decorated Vampires Village (NO Edward anywhere, sigh). There was also a "Club Dead." Some of the best music I've heard in a while. There were only about 20 people on the floor-- so plenty of room fo dancing. A mad fight broke out. Suddenly there were more cops than dancers. At that point Club Dead died.

Was the Queen Mary scary? Welllllll, I wasn't but thats not saying much. Boys, take your lady there, she'll cling to you for sure.

PS, The lines are super long, I suggest purchasing the $11 VIP upgrade so you can cut.

Business skool was constantly pushing us to NETWORK NETWORK NETWORK. "It's not what you know, its who you know" If it's not what I know, why am I at school?

One great way to save money is to be friends with someone who works for someone that has a box suite at the Honda Center and will give you 16 free Ducks tickets, VIP parking, and feed everyone dinner.

I don't mean for this blog to be about my personal life so much, but it's late and I'm tired. And I had a rad yet free evening. We were treated like royalty in our box suite. Happy to report the Ducks won 3-2. Only 1 fight broke out. And apparently they only skate the flying V formation in hockey movies. Disappointing.

Tonight was about who you know. And I'm glad I know Rhyll Smith.

It's no secret, I'm not much of an animal lover (excluding Buster, I loved that Beagle). I prefer to hunt, wear, and eat animals.

Almost daily I'm stopped and asked where I got my beautiful "801" diamond studded earrings. It's time I reveal my source.

...Fine, in case I do need to say more, this is the ultimate cheap, low quality clothing shop. Need a grill for yur mouf? A suitcase (that won't make it to your first destination)? Want to silk screen a shirt? Over the top Jewelry? It's got everything. It feels like an organized indoor flee market. I got a new shirt this last weekend and some shiny gold flats--pics to come. It came to my attention that many women are living without. And it needs to stop.

I saw lots when I lived in LA. Not as much in OC. I simply don't get it. They are comfy, go with anything, dress them up with heelz, flatz, and best of all they are CHEAP.

Fortunately for my sister (known in the underground scene as BYULEGS) I don't travel without them. Them = leggings. I recently visited Kari Scott Ward in Iowa and made her wear them when we saw Britney. I noticed no one in the state wears leggings! Ladies, you need em. I recommend starting with a basic black pair.
